Application Engineer (Precision Dispensing / Piezo Valves) (m/f/d)

• Focus on precision dispensing technology and piezoelectric jet valves for semiconductor, optics, electronic components, medical and biotechnology applications.
• Evaluate, test and further develop precision dispensing processes, including droplet dispensing, jet dispensing and micro-coating.
• Develop, validate and optimize applications using piezo valve technology.
• Provide customers with technical support, implementation guidance and troubleshooting.
• Identify and propose process improvements for semiconductor, electronic component and optical module manufacturing.
• Provide technical support to distributors and system integrators.
• Represent and support VERMES Microdispensing at industry exhibitions such as NEPCON, SEMICON and JISSO PROTEC.
• Support the setup and operation of application labs as part of establishing the Japanese subsidiary.

• 5+ Years Technical experience with dispensing equipment, micro-coating, fluid control, jetting or comparable technologies.
• Hands-on experience in customer technical support or application development.
• Native-level Japanese language skills, and basic level English
• Proficient in MS Office Suite

• Experience with equipment commissioning in system integration or factory automation is an advantage.
• Process knowledge in semiconductor, electronic component or optical module manufacturing is an advantage.
• Business level English

• Work location in Tokyo / Yokohama / Nagoya area, to be agreed depending on the role setup.
• Remote work and flexible working hours are available; relocation is not required.
• Annual salary between JPY 7 million and JPY 9 million, determined based on experience and qualifications, plus a performance-based bonus (up to 10 % depending on SMART target agreement)
• Standard working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour break, with flexible and hybrid working options by arrangement.
• Year-end and New Year holidays, Golden Week, Obon holidays and special leave for family events
